One of the greatest countries during the 1920s did not join the League of Nations , so right off the bat the league of Nations was weak. Countries questioned if the USA did not join why would it be important if they did. The lack of enforcement was another factor to the failure of the League of nations. Countries' nationalism was too; the greater and more powerful countries did not want to be told what to do by the smaller countries.
