Sun Yat Sen and the Kuomintang

Summary: Sun Yat Sen led the Kuomintang and wanted to establish a socialist democracy but this was a difficult task to initiate, the problem was they stil had the warlords to get rid of.

Chiang Kai-Shek
- Became leader of the Kuomintang in 1925 after Sun Yat Sen died
- Communist, Mao Zedong, was leader of propaganda
- Soon controlled all of China south of the Yangste River
- Rid his party of Communists, killed many while others like Mao fled to remote parts of China
Summary: Mao was part of the political party as San Yat Sen, Kuomintang. The Kuomintag flee to an island called phimosa that turns into Tawiwan. Chiang Kai-Shek was he first president of Taiwan.
